| Students came out to learn AUTHENTIC Rumbero Cha-Cha-Cha on Saturday, July 26 from 2pm - 3:30pm SHARP. The Cha-Cha-Cha workshop taught a full 90-minutes of dancing and how to dance Cha-Cha-Cha, a dance popularized during the Palladium-era in New York City. The workshop was taught at the World Dance Center located at 3116-F Milton Road in Charlotte, NC 28215 where dancers learned how to listen to, hear, and interpret the rhythms of Latin music to improve confidence and styling on the dance floor. The Rumbero style of Cha-Cha-Cha that was taught precedes the Ballroom version of the dance and it incorporated the moves often seen in Mambo dancing. The workshop was taught by Special Guest Josue Joseph - the Executive Producer of the highly-anticipated movie "La Epoca - The Palladium Era," which begins showing select theaters and nightclubs across the nation this September!! Joseph is the son of legendary Palladium-era bassist Alfonso "El Panameno" Joseph, who performed with Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Arsenio Rodriguez, Machito and Johnny Pacheco. The workshop was hosted by Rodrigo and Wendy Jimenez of Charlotte Salsa dance studio. All dancers were welcome! |

| Dancers of Mambo,
Salsa and Cha-Cha-Cha were filmed on Thursday, May 22,
at Club Bongos located at 3715 E North St in Greenville, SC
starting at 10pm. Mamberos, Salseros and Chamberos demonstrated their techniques and their spins, shines
and footwork to appear in the feature film production - and producers captured some of this on film! The weekly evening event was hosted by SalsaGreenvilleSC, with dancer/instructor Susan Zaglin - a cast member of "La Epoca," and "quite a humble and very supportive individual," according to Exec Prod Josue Joseph and also "such a helpful professional who has been wonderful in promoting Latin music and dance in South Carolina," according to Project Manager Lynne Merrill. We greatly appreciate all of the support and we especially appreciate the kind donations that continue to flow into this magnificent feature production from so many of you - our dearest fans and donors. It's because of you that this film has been able to reach the very goals intended for it. Please, continue to support us financially by making a donation - by clicking here. |

For the second time, producers made possible the filming at Club Cache of Mamberos, Salseros and Chamberos. We wish to thank Club Cache for their hospitality and for the second invitation!
